Fee free mortgages

Why pay a broker fee for your mortgage?

Fee free mortgages for new purchases.

Fee free mortgage deals or low mortgage fees are available, with some lenders offering very competitive mortgage products.

However, beware as you usually do not get 'nothing for nothing' and the mortgage lenders typically move these mortgage setup costs, over to the interest rate which is being charged.

Fee free mortgages are more common with first time buyers and the higher loan to value when you might not have as much spare money available to pay all the associated mortgage costs.

Always ensure you have some contingency money saved, to cover some of monthly mortgage payments in case of unforeseen circumstances and take suitable insurance against the risks of non-payment.

Fee free remortgages are very competitive, especially at the lower loan to value. But ensure all mortgage costs, including the mortgage interest rate are taken in to account, when considering taking out a mortgage and not just the low set up fees, where possible.
